Daniel Wills founded Cascata Group to support founders, sponsors, and leadership teams navigating significant capital decisions and transactions. His work focuses on structuring financing, evaluating investments, and helping organizations move complex initiatives from planning through execution.
Daniel's experience spans real estate development, privately held businesses, and growth-stage organizations where capital structure, timing, and disciplined financial decision-making directly influence outcomes. He has supported and executed $300M+ in debt and equity financings, working alongside owners, investors, and operating teams to advance projects and strategic initiatives to closing.
Rather than operating as a traditional finance function, Daniel works closely with decision makers during periods of transition, financing activity, or investment execution, providing analysis, coordination, and judgment when capital decisions carry meaningful consequences.
Daniel earned his degree in Economics and Business Administration from Benedictine College. He lives in Des Moines, Iowa with his wife and children and maintains a strong interest in economics, markets, and community development.
